Description:
Known as the ‘Swiss’ Seiko, this model (originally SJE series) from August 1997 combines high specifications in case, movement, bracelet and crystal. Thus, a well finished stainless steel case with gold tone accents and integrated bracelet combination are mated with a sapphire crystal and to top off – the 4S15 25 jewel high beat movement is used. At the time, this was perhaps Seiko’s best specification available outside of Japan . I am uncertain where the ‘Swiss’ label came from given that the watch was available in markets such as Thailand. Attractive watch with good proportions.
