Description:
Interesting King Seiko (5246-5030) from February 1973. The KS range represented one of the higher specifications from Seiko in what some would call their heyday. Unusual case shape in good condition using the 5246 calibre which featured instantaneous day date change at midnight. Likewise an unusual and attractive typical 1970s dial.

Polished gold tonwe hands with white stripe to tops of hours and minutes
Some 10x loupe visible spotting to seconds hand and faint hairlines to hour hand

Condition:
Case top is in overall 90% condition with very slight pitting to the polished areas and some very fine (loupe visible) hairlines
Crystal looks to be the original with some scratches and evidence of polishing
Crown is excellent with very slight wear through to the plating
Case back has original finish with some scratching to brushed and polished surfaces; all stamped numbers crisp
Movement is running correctly with all functions operating normaly
Strap in 85% and buckle in 95% condition though replated
Overall an extremely presentable example
